CodeInvicta
The four chapters of CodeChef at VIT – Vellore, Chennai, AP, and Bhopal are coming together to host the second edition of CodeInvicta from 19th – 20th March. This event is especially for all the inquisitive minds out there that have no qualms about getting out of their comfort zones.The participants will have an opportunity to learn the ropes from an industry expert. It will be followed by another workshop where they get to learn something new. The event will end with a 3-hour coding competition where participants will have their skills tested in a one-of-its-kind coding environment.
Codesque
Codechef VIT Bhopal chapter brings to you a captivating coding competition - CODESQUE on 20th February. Grab your seats with the free registrations and win exciting prizes.It will be all about exploring, discovering and seeing the bigger picture of your code with lots of fun and knowledge.
CodEnnovate
The contest will contain 5 questions and it shall be beginners friendly, with the difficulty increasing in a methodical manner. The participants will be ranked based on the ICPC pattern with a penalty of 10min. Plagarism isn't allowed and will result in disqualification.
Code Invicta
The coming together of all the 4 campuses in a first of its kind event created quite a buzz among the students, and so did the sessions with the industry expert, and YouTube sensation Amam Dhattarwal. This event was aimed at introducing competitive programming among the beginners and creating a conducive environment for the same by exposing students to the fierce competition in the aforesaid.
Leaders League
The 20-question challenging quiz and the fierce competition witnessed in it, along with the mock interview with the industry experts was the major highlight of this event.
Resource Buffer
The four-week series wherein a new topic was introduced and its resources shared on github was the highlight, as this didn’t just familiarise students with coding concepts but also with the basic workings of github.
Code For Fun
A month long series hosted on Social media, where one question was posted on the insta story every alternate day with it's explanation on the next day. Where the one with most correct answers got a shoutout on our story, every Sunday!
Codeyessey
A Competitive Coding contest was hosted on CodeChef platform in ACM-ICPC Style with easy to medium level of difficulty only. The contest was a prized contest with a prize poll of Rs. 2000/-. It witnessed students competing in large numbers and taking initiatives. It also helped establish a culture of programming, collective growth and self-learning, all of which are sure to thrive in future too.
